Accreditation and what this diploma is

What the school is, and what it is not. Read this before enrolling.

This school is a private high school. It is not accredited by the state of Alabama, by a regional accrediting body, or by any other accrediting agency. Alabama does not accredit private schools.

A diploma from this school is issued by this school. It records that the student completed this school's program and passed this school's examination. It is not a state-issued credential, and it is not a GED or its equivalent.

Whether a college, an employer, the armed forces or anybody else accepts a diploma prepared by a private school is decided by that institution, and not by this school. Many private schools' graduates are accepted every year, and some institutions ask for additional evidence. The school will supply a transcript and confirm the diploma if it is asked, but the school cannot promise the decision of another institution.

The school receives no federal or state funding.

If you are enrolling for a purpose that requires a particular accreditation, check with the institution concerned before you enrol. The office will answer straight questions about what the school is and is not.
