Diplomas and transcripts

What the school issues, when, and how a document is confirmed as genuine.

A high school diploma is issued when a student has completed the school's program and passed the school's examination. The diploma carries the student's name as they asked for it to be printed, the date of graduation, and a diploma number.

A transcript is issued by the school office and lists the coursework completed, the grade awarded for each course, the credits earned, and the cumulative grade point average. A transcript is signed and dated by the school and carries the school seal.

Every diploma carries a number. Anybody holding one may confirm that it was issued by this school using the certificate check on this website, which will confirm or deny a number. The check never lists diplomas and never searches by name, so it cannot be used to find out who has one.

A graduate may ask the office for further copies of their diploma or transcript. A replacement is prepared by the office, and the office may charge for the cost of preparing and posting it.

The school does not alter a grade, a date or a record once issued. If something on a document is wrong, it is corrected by reissuing the document, and the correction is noted in the record.
